increased understanding of domestic abuse for the participants
persönliche Entwicklung / Erwerb von sozialen und personalen Kompetenzen
The youth service was age appropriate in helping to ensure that young people were getting information they could understand. Participating in the Riverside youth service, the young people said that they had an increased understanding of domestic abuse. Understanding that they were not to blame for the abuse they experienced and learning new strategies for dealing with feelings of isolation were of more immediate micro-level importance.
