preventing negative behaviours among young people

Prävention

There was also emerging evidence that Youth Sector Development Fund services were diverting young people away from negative behaviours, and reflected in wider local statistics where they were available. For example in one civil society organisation (CSO) area a reduction in ASB, and improved relations between the police and local young people, was attributed to the activities of a Round 3 case study CSO.

Evaluierung der Aktivität

The evaluation methodology included the review of programme documentation and management information (MI); case study fieldwork with 15 Round 2 and Round 3 CSOs; and interviews with Managing Body representatives and a range of national stakeholders. The evaluation was intended to run between January 2009 and the programme end in March 2011, although the decision was taken to complete the study early in October 2010.
