Similarly, the capacity of volunteering to help young people develop skills to further help others was recognised with 80% agreeing that participation in Gamechangers cause campaigns assisted them in developing their mentoring capacities, improving their character (59%) and engaging in more volunteering (88%). Volunteers were also asked to assess the extent to which they felt a range of personal skills had increased, decreased or stayed the same.
